Bill retired from Deloitte in Mexico after 35 years in public accounting. He has extensive experience working with and consolidating foreign subsidiaries throughout Latin America, in accordance with U.S. and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), as well as the local accounting standards in each country.
Bill has been a member of the Mexican Financial Reporting Standards Board (“CINIF”) since 2010, the group responsible for the issuance of Mexican Financial Reporting Standards. He currently presents seminars on financial reporting standards throughout Mexico.
Bill is an active member of the International Forum of Accounting Standard Setters (IFASS), the World Standard Setters (WSS), the Emerging Economies Group (EEG) of the IASB, and the Group of Latin American Accounting Standard Setters (GLASS).
