Biography

Paul Winrow is a Partner at Mazars where he focusses on Audit Policy & Regulation and Sustainability Reporting & Assurance, and leads on the IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards globally. He was previously Technical Partner and Ethics Partner in a mid-tier audit firm after spending over six years in global roles in top 10 international networks. He has extensive experience in the Public and Not for Profit sector built over 25 years with big 4 and mid-tier audit firms and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy.

Paul has been a member of the Forum of Firms and Transnational Auditors Committee over the last seven years and will represent the Forum of Firms on this project. He will also represent the Forum of Firms on the IPSASB Consultative Advisory Group from 2024 (following a formal approval process). Paul has been a Charity Trustee for ten years and has also been a co-opted Audit Committee member, School Governor and Hospital Governor. In his spare time, Paul is an avid sports fan, particularly baseball and football and has also completed a part-time PhD in Palaeontology.

Paul Winrow is a member of the IFR4NPO Practitioner Advisory Group which provide input in the development of the Exposure Draft Guidelines.
