Biography

Risper Olick is a resourceful and accomplished professional with over fifteen (15) years work experience in financial management, administration, operations, compliance checks, and project management in the NPO sector in Kenya.  Previously head of finance and administration at Amnesty International Kenya, she’s presently a consultant in finance and tax matters based in Kenya. Risper holds an MBA- Finance option and B-Com Accounting both from the University of Nairobi and is also a CPA-K, CS-K, Certified grants accountant, Certified Professional Mediator and Corporate Governance certified.  She is a student at USIU Africa studying Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) with an intention to specialize in Leadership and Organization Change.

Risper currently serves Institute of Certified Public of Kenya (ICPAK) as a Council member of the Institute, and is also a board member at Public Sector Accounting Standards Board (PSASB) Kenya where she represents ICPAK, chairs the Accounting Standards Committee and is a member of the Audit, Risk and Assurance Committee.

Besides ICPAK, she is a member of Association of Women Accountants in Kenya (AWAK) and Institute of Certified Secretaries (ICS) Kenya.

As I volunteer my service to IFR4NPO, I am motivated to empower change and ignite progress. Here my passion meets purpose, and together, I hope we will shape a legacy of positive impact for a better tomorrow in NPO financial reporting across the world.
