Mohamed Abdelrahman is an experienced leader in non-profit and financial management, with over 24 years in roles covering internal audit, risk management, strategy, and performance improvement. He serves as a Governance and Audit Committee Member of Ibn Sina Pharma, Egypt’s leading pharma distributor, contributing to the company’s financial and governance practices. He is also a board member for AFP Global, and active in the Association of Fundraising Professionals (Egypt Chapter).

As former CEO of MEK Foundation, Egypt’s largest NGO, Mohamed led a team of over 1,000 across 40+ locations, managing a multi-billion-pound budget. Under his leadership, MEK received a UNESCO award. Previously, he worked at PwC as a Performance Improvement Manager, advising clients in nine Middle Eastern countries, primarily in the nonprofit sector.

Mohamed holds a Global Business Master’s from ESLSCA Paris and is a Certified Fraud Examiner, Qualified Internal Auditor, Certified Risk Management Professional, and Certified Analytics Professional. He is a practicing Muslim and of Middle Eastern Copt heritage.
