How to submit a response

Find out the three ways to submit a response to the IFR4NPO Consultation

Shape the future, share your voice

If you are involved in or impacted by NPO financial reporting, we would like to hear from you.  Your feedback will shape the next stages of the project.  This will include how the Guidance should be developed and which issues should be prioritised.

We would like your views on questions contained in Parts 1 and 2 of the Consultation Paper. Questions in Part 1 are likely to be of interest to a wide range of individuals and organisations and the questions in Part 2 are likely to be of more interest to those who prepare, use and audit financial reports.  This video explains why we want to hear from you and how you can do it.

☑ Respond to Part 1 by 30 July 2021

☑ Respond to Part 2 by 24 September 2021

You can provide your feedback in one of three ways.  The flow chart opposite will help you decide which is the best method for you. If you are not sure please contact us. Whichever method you use, we are requesting demographic information to help with our analysis of the responses.  We require all responses to be in English and responses will be published.

The methods available are:

  • Submit a comment letter using the 'upload a response' button below. If you have a process for responding to accounting standards consultations, this is likely to be the most appropriate option.
  • Complete templates that can be downloaded via the 'download templates' button below. There are separate documents available, one for responding to Part 1 and a separate document for Part 2. Once completed the template should be uploaded using the 'submit a comment' button. If you wish to collaborate with others or want to time to consider your responses this is likely to be the most appropriate option.
  • Complete an online survey accessed through the 'online survey' button below. There are separate surveys available to respond to Part 1 and Part 2. The survey does not need to be completed in one session and you can return to it multiple times. Anyone can complete the survey
