Biography

Carolyn Cordery is an Adjunct Professor at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. Her research focuses on not for profit organisations’ accounting and accountability. Her research examines how these organisations are resourced and their accountability, as well as comparative regulation. Carolyn is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. She is also a Fellow of CPA Australia. She is Chair of the NZASB (accounting standard setter In New Zealand) and a member of the Australian Accounting Standards Board. She is the President-Elect of the International Society of Third Sector Research from 2023-2024.
