Role: Director, Charity Research Center, China Philanthropy Research Institute of Beijing Normal University
Huang’s research focuses on legal, tax and accounting issues in the not for profit sector in China. Since taking on her current role at Beijing Normal University in 2014, she has offered legislative consultation to policymakers, and provides practical consultation to NPOs and philanthropists in China. In 2018 she was appointed by the Ministry of Finance, Peoples’ Republic of China as the Executive Leader of a project to ‘Revise the Non-Profit Organization Accounting System’, issuing a report that same year.
Huang is a visiting fellow of Harvard Kennedy School and holds a master’s degree in law from the school of law, Renmin University of China.
