Carole brings over 16 years of wide ranging experience in finance and administration, grants management, financial systems review, information systems management, and emergency response systems. She has managed large and diverse teams having worked with a number of national and international nongovernmental organizations. Among others, Kariuki has worked with Mission for Essential Drugs and Supplies as a senior accountant; Help Age International as the regional finance and administration manager; and most recently Oxfam GB as finance manager in Kenya. Kariuki is a certified public accountant (CPA) Kenya and holds a masters degree in business administration from the East and Southern African Management Institute (ESAMI).

Peter Githongo is Grant Management Services Director with BDO East Africa Kenya and has more than 25 years of experience in Grant Management consulting where he has been responsible for several assignments on behalf of international donor bodies and country missions; assignments on behalf of country offices of global multinationals; as well as international not-for-profit consulting practices.
He has acted as a professional Trustee and in various governance as well as fiduciary and operational oversight roles. He has provided technical and operational support to several international foundations not registered in Kenya.
Peter is a Development Economist by training and also has broad experience in development consulting roles. Peter holds a Master of Science degree in Development Economics from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Buckingham. Peter is a member of Kenya’s Institute of Economic Affairs.
