Steven is a member of CIPFA’s Policy and Technical team. For many years Steven helped develop CIPFA’s view and respond to proposals for new standards being consulted by other standard setters in the UK and internationally, including financial reporting standards such as IFRS and IPSASs, and auditing standards and guidance such as International Standards on Auditing and Practice Note 10. Steven trained at the National Audit Office and also spent three years at HM Treasury as an accountancy advisor
